SHREDDED CHICKEN IN THE PRESSURE COOKER
For this recipe, we will use shredded chicken. Some say that shredding chicken is not an easy task, but I totally disagree! Today I show you a simple, practical and very easy way to cook and shred chicken, a very versatile ingredient in the kitchen, as it can be used in countless dishes, such as filling for pie, hide, sandwich, fricassê and much more!
Ingredients:
- 2 kg boneless chicken breast
- 1 tbsp of butter or oil
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 table spoon of salt
- water
Preparation mode:
In a pressure cooker, brown the onion and garlic in butter or olive oil. Add the chicken fillet and salt and let it brown. Cover with water, close the pan and cook for 15 minutes after the pan has pressure.
Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally. Open the pan, remove and reserve the broth to use in other recipes and leave only the chicken. Close the pot again and shake it up and down a few times. Open the pan and your chicken will be shredded.
