Clearing snow seems to be a very simple thing, but sometimes things don't go as expected. Therefore, when a recipe calls for egg whites, some tips can help you.

  1. Eggs need to be fresh, if you use old eggs the point will definitely be different. To know if an egg is old, just put it in a glass of water and if it floats, it's already old. Avoid using it in recipes.
  2. For egg whites, the temperature of the eggs matters and they must be at room temperature. Leave it out of the fridge for at least a few hours before even separating the whites from the yolks.
  3. Clean and dry utensils, especially the mixer and bowl. Sometimes we think that the utensils are clean, but they may have a little bit of grease left over from other recipes. For the egg whites to be good, they need to be perfectly clean and free of grease.
  4. The salt will help stabilize the whites and reach the point you need, but it's just a pinch, if you add too much it will ruin the recipe.

Ready! With these tips you will never go wrong with your egg whites again.
