This wonderful gluten-free and egg-free bread is ready in a few minutes and is super tasty!!!

We are going to use potato and rice flakes to replace the wheat flour and you can then use your creativity for the filling.

I chose cheese, but you can use shredded chicken, tuna, ground beef, escarole, or any other option you like.

This recipe is very interesting because it DOES NOT CONTAIN EGG and can be consumed by allergies.

Egg allergy is one of the most common childhood allergies, and it can persist even into adulthood.

Those who are allergic to eggs (white and/or yolk) cannot consume eggs from any kind of bird (chicken, quail, duck, goose…).

Even if the person is only allergic to the egg white, the consumption of the yolk is not recommended (since it is very difficult to prevent contamination from one to the other).

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 potatoes
  • 5 tablespoons of rice flakes
  • salt to taste
  • Cheese for stuffing (optional)

METHOD OF PREPARATION

    1. In a pan with boiling water, cook the potatoes and when they are well cooked, peel and mash until obtaining a very homogeneous puree.
    2. Add salt and rice flakes, which can also be replaced with rice or oat flour.
    3. Take spoonfuls of the dough and shape into balls, then open and add the filling of your choice.
    4. Close the dough modeling in the shape of a bun.
    5. Brush a frying pan with a little olive oil and let it brown over low heat on one side, then turn and brown on the other side.
    6. Your delicious Functional Bread is ready!!
